Marianna Verlage Archibald, CEO & FOunder

Marianna has dedicated her career to the environmental field and for the past decade has had several large-scale project management roles ranging from overseeing a government grant in Sydney, Australia focused on studying the Urban Heat Island Effect to being the Sustainability Manager for an architecture and construction firm to designing residential and commercial solar systems to consulting for corporations and non-profits on sustainability-related issues.

Marianna graduated Cum Laude from Harvard with a degree in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Earth and Planetary Sciences and is passionate about all things related to environmental sustainability and climate action.

Jillian mcfarland, Chief Community & Brand Builder

Jillian is an award-winning marketing and nonprofit leader with a background in marcom strategy for higher education and nonprofit w/ a specialization in sustainability and social innovation. She is a U.S. Air Force veteran with 20+ years of experience across marketing, business development, fundraising, & community building.

Jillian is equal parts social entrepreneur, green cities champion and natural climate solutions advocate. She is the former founder of The Great Seed Bomb (a fiscally-sponsored initiative of The Dallas Parks Foundation) and has worked with Sustainable Brands, Environmental Defense Fund, EarthX and Climate Institute in finding ways to promote smart business solutions to environmental challenges.
